NZ Van Lines have raised the bar once again.
This 2025 Mercedes-Benz Actros 5 (2663) Stinger is the newest addition to our fleet. Purpose-built for long-haul performance and reliability, and increasing our capacity as the 4th in our fleet this state-of-the-art unit strengthens our ability to deliver moving solutions across the country.
This configuration transports up to three 20-foot high cube containers on a single trip. Each 20-foot container can accommodate the contents of a standard 2 to 3-bedroom home, meaning the stinger can manage up to three full household moves in one journey between our locations. This enhanced efficiency not only improves scheduling flexibility and turnaround times for our customers but also reduces emissions per move, aligning with our sustainability goals.
At NZ Van Lines, we are focused on sustainability and this year were proud to be the first to achieve Toitū carbon reduce certification in our industry. Featuring a powerful Euro VI-compliant 15.6L engine and Predictive Powertrain Control technology, it delivers fuel savings 9% on long-distance moves – helping us reduce operating costs while minimising our environmental impact.
