"We highly recommend NZVL for moving and storage. The crew packing our items in Wellington (Paul and Jan and Dayna as well as manager Johnny) did a great job. Johnny then made sure our items were well cared for in storage for almost four years in NZ Van Lines' Seaview warehouse in Wellington. The Manawatu moving and unloading crew, Dave, Zack, Latrell, George, and Palmerston North Operations Manager Cedric (Cedric actually joined in to do a lot of the heavy lifting!) recently did a fantastic job of unloading two large hi-cube containers.
We're still unpacking some cartons but so far nothing was broken or damaged. The crews were very polite and considerate and took extra care to not soil brand new carpeting during torrential downpours. Well done guys!!!! We highly recommend New Zealand Van Lines for storage and moving at a reasonable and competitive price!"

The service provided by NZ Van Lines throughout our move was outstanding, from the initial consultation and wonderful moral support from agent, Kathy Amos in Auckland; to the incredible crew of Mista, Tenari, 'lei & Poasa who packed our effects into the 20ft container and expertly wrapped several large, precious items for us [we'd packed the rest ourselves]; to the brilliant Southern crew of Brendon, Jayden & Liam who unloaded the container here, having already devanned two 20ft'ers in Wanaka earlier in the day! Both crews were extremely professional, courteous and respectful and we would unhesitatingly recommend NZ Van Lines to anyone needing a great moving company. "Bobby and the team were a lifesaver! I got stood up by another company and was sitting outside my storage unit waiting to move all my stuff to my first home in Te Hāwera for a mover who never arrived (or called). Thank goodness for these guys! Bobby was able to organise a truck and team from Pukeāriki / Ngāmotu that afternoon, and instead of costing me an arm and a leg, the bill was super reasonable and I paid what I had been quoted by the other 2 guys for 3 men at short notice. Your packing and transport staff were really first class and exceeded our expectations not only in their speed and efficiency but also in their friendly and helpful manner. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they took away all the stress and confusion that we faced with having to move 45 years of possessions and memories. This would not have been possible if it had not been our good fortune to meet Donna Weir in 2014.
After battling with EQC for 3 years, we were declared "overcap" and fobbed off to Southern Response to start all over again. This involved us having to obtain quotes for moving out of our house, storage of goods and moving back in. We contacted NZ Van Lines and consequently met Donna. She provided us with options and timely quotations but more importantly was the way she treated us. She was most understanding of our feelings, frustrations and even anger over our situation. She was not just professional in her dealings with us but it was a joy to have contact with her both by email and phone calls. We really felt that she was working for Us.
It took 3 years to finally resolve our earthquake issues with Southern Response. During this period we had regular contact with Donna. She did a great job in following up on our initial enquiry but always understanding of our position of "no progress." Finally, at the end of May this year we moved into our new house in Silverstream. 3 years seems a long time to close a sale but there was nothing she could have done to speed things up. However, her dedication, consideration and friendliness paid off and resulted not only in a sale but very satisfied customers extolling the praises of your staff and company.
