They are non-toxic and bleach free, where possible we recycle and reuse packaging materials.

Our professional packers will take care of everything! From the packing and uplift of your household goods through to the delivery and collection of cartons providing the utmost care and protection to your personal belongings.
Detailed Inventory
NZ Van Lines prepares a detailed inventory of all your household effects being relocated. These are prepared to customs, quarantine, and insurance standards.
All items are placed in quality moving boxes or professionally wrapped, numbered, labelled and documented at origin, and then accounted for in storage (if required), and at destination (excluding same-day local moves).
Specialist Custom-Built Crates
Our specialist crates are custom-built by arrangement for the provision of utmost care and protection for speciality items such as; artwork, high-value items, grand pianos and motorcycles.

Priority Carton
A priority carton is used for all those important items: remote controls, screws etc.

Packed in an expandable carton and crating, if required, to protect against scratching, broken glass, and frames
TV Cartons
LCD and plasma TV cartons packed with cardboard inserts providing maximum protectionÂ
Bike Cartons
Custom-built bike cartons to provide maximum protection
Mattress and Lounge Suite Protectors
Mattresses and sofas are placed in heavy-duty plastic mattress bags.
Appliance Wrapping
Appliances and furniture are shape wrapped in thick bubble wrap for maximum protection.
Specialised Wrapping
NZ Van Lines have custom packaging materials and crating options for all speciality and fragile items such as: crystal, ornaments, wine, antiques and high value items.
RECYCLING
We are committed to a sustainable future by using cartons with 35% recycled content, made from non-toxic, bleach-free materials, and recycling or reusing packaging where possible.
We have owner packed options available upon request.
Here’s some helpful packing advice to get you started:
- Declutter – get rid of any unwanted items you don’t wish to take with you. Sell items that are in good condition, return things that don’t belong to you, or donate unwanted clothing, kitchenware and toys to your local charity store.
- Identify any speciality items – make sure you notify your moving team about these items.
- Need storage? Sometimes people find they aren’t quite ready to take delivery at their new residence. If this is the case with your move, we can uplift your belongings and place them into one of our secure storage facilities at either origin or destination for short or long term.
