Tunatuna the Murihiku Pop up Pump Track is a collaborative community project. Set-up in the Southland region’s local parks, the pump track is for everyone to use, available 24/7 to ride their bikes, scooters, skateboards, and skates on. It’s a great way to keep active and have fun.
The Tunatuna portable pump track has moved around Southland, including the areas of Bluff, Nightcaps, Invercargill, and Wyndham. Last December the track’s built-in e-counter recorded an impressive 62,000 counts for the month of December when situated in Russell Square, Invercargill.
NZ Van Lines have proudly been involved taking care of the logistics of moving the pump track around the parks since its first deployment into Bluff. This year the Tunatuna has moved from Russel Square, Invercargill to Wyndham Playground, it is now on the move again to Surrey Park in Invercargill.
Branch Manager Brendon McLeod says “It is great to play a part in this community project. Our team of removalists take care of the relocation to keep the Tunatuna the Murihiku Pop Up Pump Track safe and secure during transit, ensuring that it arrives at each location in Southland intact and ready for the community to enjoy.”
