NZ Van Lines Assists The Court Theatre’s Grand Relocation to the Heart of Christchurch
NZ Van Lines recently had the privilege of working alongside one of New Zealand’s most beloved performing arts institutions, The Court Theatre, as they moved into their brand new home in the heart of Christchurch, New Zealand.
This wasn’t your typical relocation. The Court Theatre’s move involved transporting thousands of props, costumes, workshop tools, and theatre equipment – carefully and efficiently into the new Court Theatre on the corner of Colombo and Gloucester Streets in Christchurch’s city centre.
The Court Theatre’s Move
From the start, NZ Van Lines worked closely with The Court Theatre to ensure every detail was handled with care. The relocation was spread over 15 days during a six-week period and completed in stages. This allowed The Court Theatre to continue with on-going productions at the Addington venue. Precision, flexibility, and open collaboration ensured the transition was seamless.
